Dwayne is located in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His legal experience focuses on general corporate and commercial law, finance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and business formation.Dwayne has previously served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the New Media Division of Geneva Films, a multi-platform production company in Hollywood, California, and also as Associate General Counsel for Healthcare Financial Partners, where he was responsible for negotiating and closing over $400 million in complex commercial debt financings to a diverse portfolio of small and mid-sized businesses.
Prior to joining Healthcare Financial, Dwayne practiced law in the Washington, D.C. offices of Jones Day and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, where he was involved in analyzing, structuring and negotiating a wide range of mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions. Dwayne has also been active in the angel investing communities in Washington, D.C. and other parts of the country.
