Practice Experience
Dwayne is located in the Firm’s Washington, DC office. His legal experience focuses on general corporate and commercial law; finance; joint ventures; mergers and acquisitions and business formation.

Dwayne has previously served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the New Media Division of Geneva Films, a multi-platform production company in Hollywood, California, and also as Vice President and Senior Counsel for Heller Financial, where he was responsible for negotiating and closing over $400 million in complex commercial debt financings to a diverse portfolio of small and mid-sized businesses.

Prior to joining Heller, Dwayne practiced law in the Washington, DC offices of Jones Day and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, where he was involved in analyzing, structuring and negotiating a wide range of mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions. Dwayne has also been active in the angel investing communities in Washington, DC and other parts of the country.
